Small tools for real work

About OnlineTools

Learn how OnlineTools builds fast, focused, and privacy-friendly browser utilities for developers and everyday technical work.

Why OnlineTools exists

Small technical tasks should not require a large application. OnlineTools brings common developer utilities together in one fast, predictable collection.

We focus on the moments between larger pieces of work: checking JSON, converting a timestamp, comparing text, decoding a value, or generating an identifier. Each tool is intended to be understandable on first use and useful enough to keep bookmarked.

The collection currently includes 29 tools across 6 categories, with new pages added in deliberate batches.

How we build

Focused by design

Each page solves one clear problem, with the controls and explanations needed to finish that task.

Private by default

Current tools process the content you enter locally in your browser instead of uploading it to us.

Open without friction

No account, installation, or sign-up is required. Open a tool and begin working immediately.

Useful on every screen

Interfaces are designed for desktop work while remaining usable on tablets and mobile devices.

What we do not do

OnlineTools is not a storage service, collaboration platform, or substitute for reviewing production data carefully. Tools provide practical transformations and checks, but you remain in control of the source data and the final result.
